I was browsing through my “La Kits” folder thinking of a challenge… when I realized, La has an amazing eye for color. And when I started going through the kits, pieces matched from multiple kits. “Well,” I said to myself, “what if my challenge were to grab one piece from each kit to make a page?” That couldn’t last very long at all, there are so many fabulous goodies that I had to keep adding. I don’t think I got carried away… but I certainly got … a bunch … on there. So your challenge this month is to make a page using at least two La kits that screams color!

Don’t you agree? Val, here….Yet sometimes we find ourselves in a rut or just plain mojoless! This is when i go out in search of something, anything, usually on the net or pinterest, that some how gets my juices flowing! I’m often attracted to geometric shapes and their combinations. It may come from my mom and her quilting passion. Today I wanted to share how i turned something i found, a photo of a quilt, into a layout! Hey, LeeAndra here with your inspiration post for the month! You might have already guessed where this post is going by its title, but as cheesy as it seems sometimes, we really do need to be thankful more often for what we have rather than being upset over what we don’t have. [Guilty as charged.]
